Terms of Service

Effective 22 August 2026 · Dinah daily horoscope subscription

These terms are an agreement between you and nativeMsg, Inc. (“nativeMsg”, “we”, “us”). Dinah is the name of the service; nativeMsg is the company that provides it and the party you are contracting with. Our postal address is at the bottom of this page.

They govern the Dinah subscription and are complete in themselves. Together with our Privacy Policy they are the entire agreement between us about Dinah.

The short version. One horoscope a day by text. Free for 7 days with no card. After that a monthly plan between $4.99 and $14.99, or a yearly plan between $39.99 and $119.99you are shown your exact price before you subscribe, and it does not change without notice. Charged by Stripe and renewing automatically until you cancel. Reply STOP at any time — the messages stop and the subscription is cancelled in the same moment. Horoscopes are entertainment, not advice. You must be 18 or older. This agreement contains an arbitration clause and class action waiver, which you may opt out of within 30 days.

1. Who may subscribe

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. Dinah is offered only in the United States, to United States mobile numbers. We ask for your date of birth during signup and will decline anyone whose date of birth shows they are under 18. By subscribing you confirm that you meet these requirements, that the date of birth you give is your own, and that the mobile number you enrol is one you own or are authorised to use.

2. What the service is

Dinah sends approximately one horoscope reading per day to your mobile number, at a delivery time you choose, together with occasional service messages such as receipts, renewal reminders and notices about changes to the service.

Readings are produced from published astronomical data and drafted with the assistance of automated tools, then reviewed before they are sent. They are written for a star sign, not for you individually, unless you choose to provide additional birth details.

3. Enrolling, and your consent to automatic renewal

You enrol by sending us a text message and then, after we display the price, the message frequency, the renewal terms and how to cancel, by taking a separate affirmative action to accept. Your acceptance of the automatic renewal terms is a distinct step and is not bundled into acceptance of any other agreement.

We keep a record of that consent, including the date, the mobile number and the exact wording you were shown, for at least three years, or one year after this agreement ends, whichever is longer.

4. The free trial, and what happens when it ends

Your first 7 days are free and require no payment method. This is a free-to-pay conversion offer: at the end of the free period, you are not charged and no subscription begins unless you have separately chosen to subscribe and provided a payment method.

If you do nothing, the free period simply ends. You will continue to receive a shortened form of the daily reading, with the option to subscribe, until you either subscribe or text STOP. You can stop those messages at any time with STOP.

5. Price, billing and automatic renewal

PlanPrice rangeRenews
Monthly$4.99 – $14.99Every month, on the anniversary of your first charge
Yearly$39.99 – $119.99Every year, on the anniversary of your first charge

Why a range, and what you actually pay. We offer the subscription at more than one price while we work out what it should cost. The single price that applies to you is displayed to you before you agree to anything — in the message asking you to subscribe, on the checkout page, and again on every receipt. You are only ever charged the price you were shown. It will not change while you remain subscribed unless we tell you first, in the message thread, and give you the chance to cancel.

6. Cancelling

Reply STOP. That is the entire process, and it works in the same place you signed up. The messages end and the subscription is cancelled at the same moment — we do not continue billing anyone we have stopped messaging.

You may also cancel from the billing portal linked in any receipt. Cancellation is effective immediately on request; you will not be charged again. Cancelling is deliberately no harder than subscribing, and requires no phone call, no chat session and no retention offer.

Refunds. Subscription charges are for the period they cover and are not refundable in part when you cancel mid-period — you keep access for the remainder of the period you paid for. We will refund in full any charge taken after you asked to cancel, any charge taken in error, and anything else the law requires us to refund. Ask us at help@heydinah.com and we will deal with it fairly.

8. Entertainment only — this is not advice

Horoscopes are for entertainment. Readings are generated from real astronomical data and written to be enjoyable. They are not predictions of future events and they are not professional advice of any kind.

Dinah does not provide medical, mental health, psychological, financial, investment, tax, insurance, legal, employment or relationship advice, and nothing in a reading should be relied upon in making a decision of that kind. If you need advice of that kind, please consult someone qualified to give it. If you are in crisis, contact a local emergency service or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

9. Acceptable use

Please do not use the service to send unlawful, threatening, abusive or harassing content; attempt to interfere with or disrupt it; access it by automated means; or reproduce, resell or redistribute the readings commercially. We may suspend or terminate a subscription that does any of these, or that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent, and will refund any unused prepaid period if we do so for reasons other than your misconduct.

10. Content and intellectual property

The readings, the Dinah name and the marks and design of the service belong to nativeMsg or its licensors. You may read, screenshot and share individual readings for your own personal, non-commercial use. Everything else is reserved.

11. Changes to the service and to these terms

We may change or discontinue Dinah. If we discontinue it we will tell you in the message thread, stop billing you, and refund any period you have paid for that we do not deliver.

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the message thread before it takes effect, and — where the change affects an ongoing subscription — it will not apply to you until your next renewal, so you may cancel first. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it.

12. Disclaimers

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, AND NATIVEMSG DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY MESSAGE WILL BE DELIVERED.

Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER NATIVEMSG NOR ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS OR SUPPLIERS WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (b) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify nativeMsg against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service. This does not apply to ordinary use of the service as intended.

15. Disputes — informal resolution, then arbitration

Please contact us first. Most problems are resolved quickly by email. Before starting a formal proceeding, you agree to send a description of the dispute and the relief you want to help@heydinah.com, and to give us 30 days to resolve it. We will do the same for any claim we have against you.

If it is not resolved, you and nativeMsg agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, and that the Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. Arbitration is before a single arbitrator, may be conducted by written submission, telephone or video, and any in-person hearing will be held in Cook County, Illinois or, at your election, in the county where you live. The arbitrator may award the same individual relief a court could.

Class action waiver. Claims may be brought only in your individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any form of representative proceeding. If this waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim — and only that claim — will proceed in court.

Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property.

You can opt out of arbitration. Email help@heydinah.com with the subject line “Arbitration Opt-Out” and your mobile number within 30 days of first subscribing. Opting out costs you nothing, changes nothing else about your subscription, and we will not treat you differently for it. If you opt out, disputes go to the courts described below.

Time limit. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises, to the extent permitted by law.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Where a dispute is not subject to arbitration, you and nativeMsg submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois. Nothing here deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws of the state in which you live.
